The National Dancing Association of Australia was
established in the mid 1950s and is affiliated with Ballet
Australasia Limited
The association was the first to sponsor Scottish National
Dancing examinations in Australia
It has conducted the Grand Australasian Championships since 1958
and continues this tradition each year
Examinations are held annually throughout Australia
The examination syllabus follows the technique set down by the
SOBHD. It includes a teacher's certificate at Elementary,
Intermediate and Advanced levels
